Dilophosaurus er lett å gjenkjenne av de to karakteristiske kamene opp ned. De er knallrøde og kan sees langveisfra. På sin lange rygg pryder en knallrød kam spissen av halen. Hans vakre øglehud har en blåaktig farge på ryggen og bena. Det ser bra ut! Med en vekt på bare 500 kilo er Dilophosaurus nesten en lett sammenlignet med de andre dinosaurene. Men du skal ikke undervurdere ham. Carnivoor er et ekte rovdyr og knuser fisk eller mindre dinosaurer som peanøtter blant hans sterke brosme. Fordi han har så sterke bakben, kan han løpe veldig bra og lett fange opp byttet sitt under jakt. Det er bedre å ikke komme nær ham.
