Byomiske juniorteleskop 70/300 er et kompakt refraktor -teleskop som kan settes opp i løpet av få minutter. Alt startastronomen må gjøre er å montere den okulære holderen og velge en av de to okulærene. Søkeren må sikres med to skruer, og deretter kan teleskopet plasseres på stativet. Teleskopet er festet på stativet med to skruer som lett kan strammes for hånd. Videre må spaken i stativet roteres for stabilitet. Da er teleskopet klart til bruk!
