Allteq RJ45 splitter With this white Allteq RJ45 splitter, you can connect multiple devices to a single network connection. However, the 2 devices cannot use the connection simultaneously. If you want them to, you will need a router or switch. This Allteq RJ45 splitter is therefore particularly useful because you no longer have to constantly swap cables.
Usage Using this passive splitter is very simple. On the side of the splitter with 1 port, you connect the cable that is connected to your network. To the 2 ports on the other side of the splitter, you connect the two devices that want to use this network connection. Please note! Keep in mind that only 1 of those ports is active at any time, so the 2 connected devices cannot use the network connection simultaneously, but always one at a time.
