Denne sandfilterpumpen 220-240 volt gir enda finere rengjøring enn vanlige patronfiltre. Driften av et sandfilter kan sammenlignes med naturlig filtrering av grunnvann i sanddynene. Med en sandfilterpumpe pumpes vannet kraftig gjennom sanden i filteret, som holder på alle urenheter som er større enn sandkornet. Skitten, som alger, sand og skadedyr, blir liggende igjen i sandfilteret. Filtreringen skjer i filtertanken til pumpen. Sanden må skiftes en gang hvert 3. år. Filteret har en timerfunksjon, som lar deg stille inn tidspunktet når badekaret skal filtreres, men kan også betjenes manuelt.
