Round glass beads. These small glass beads (also called seed beads) have a long tradition that can be traced back to historical times. The beads are used not only for many different types of Kumihimo jewelry, but also to decorate costumes for different cultures around the world. The beads are charming additions to simple bracelets and necklaces. They are also suitable for woven and sewn Kumihimo jewelry or borders. Thread seed beads, for example, on an elastic cord, jewelry wire or thick wire. Make sure that the thickness of the beading needle and cord or thread match the size of the opening in the bead. For example, weaving often requires you to thread two strands of thread through each bead.
