Product Description The wild ride begins: The Krampus Frameset by Surly The Surly Krampus frameset, the first "plus bike" of its kind, has kept up with the times: thanks to Gnot Boost Spacing you can ride the exact rear hub that fits you, whether 10 x 135 mm, 12 x 142 mm or 12 x 148 mm Boost. With its long head tube and compact chainstays, the Krampus will bring any trail to its knees. The double-butted, partially tapered tubes give it stiffness without affecting its weight. Of course you can mount an adjustable seatpost and 3" tyres - so you can have even more fun with this wild stallion. Rear wheels with 12 x 142 mm or 12 x 148 mm thru-axles can be mounted by clamping or spreading the frame. Wheels with an over locknut dimension of 135 mm can be operated in frames with Gnot Boost technology using the rear wheel axle adapter. For frames with struts on the top tube, this is measured from the middle of the bottom bracket to above the struts.
