Product Description The absoluteBLACK Oval chainring for SRAM Direct Mount with 0 mm offset This oval 1-speed chainring by absoluteBLACK for SRAM MTB cranks with Direct Mount and MTB cranks with a removable spider features a 0 mm offset. It is therefore suitable for enduro and DH bikes with 55 mm chainline, regardless of whether you have a DUB, GXP or BB30 bottom bracket with a long axle. It can also be used on bikes with a short BB30 axle and standard over locknut dimension of 135 or 142 mm. The chainring is made of premium quality aluminium and features a Narrow-Wide tooth profile that counteracts chain drop. Thanks to the oval shape, you optimise your pedalling movement, reduce the strain on your knees and move forward faster. Note: For modern Super Boost cranks from SRAM (SB+), the chainring with 3 mm offset must be used. They maximise pedalling power the moment it is developed and minimise resistance when it is not. As a result, oval chainrings allow the rider to pedal more smoothly and stay loose on the climb. In fact, your pedal stroke will feel "rounder" with an oval chainring than with a round chainring. Compared to round chainrings, oval chainrings address more muscle groups - but each of them to a lesser degree. The total load of pedalling is therefore distributed over a larger muscle mass and the knees are less strained. This has three advantages: 1. The legs remain fresher and more relaxed. 2.
