Allteq car radio antenna adapter
This Allteq car radio antenna adapter is suitable for converting an 11 mm antenna connection into an "old" antenna connection. It is a universal antenna plug for use with your car radio. The antenna adapter has two connections: an 11 mm female (ISO) and a male antenna (DIN). The DIN antenna plug of a car usually does not fit a new ISO radio, which means your FM/AM radio will not work. With this plug adapter, you can connect an antenna with an 11mm ISO antenna connector to a newer model receiver with a standard DIN connection. The antenna adapter is easy to use, requiring no wire cutting or screwing.
Usage
A DIN connector is a type of connector consisting of a housing with a number of pins inside. The plug comes in many different versions, varying for example in size or number of pins. With universal antenna plugs, such as this antenna adapter, you can connect the antenna connection (DIN) to the ISO connection of the car radio. Newer car radio models often have DIN connections, while antennas have an ISO connection. This adapter provides the solution to that problem.
