Product Description Brings the shift and Bowden cables together: the Bayonet Connector by Rohloff Bayonet connector / bayonet tip for the shift cable side for internal shift cable routing. Bayonet locks for the shift cable side can also be found in our range. Also available: a bayonet tip and bayonet connector set. The bayonet tip is mounted together with a cable end sleeve on the 0.9 mm shift cable. This effectively prevents damage to the shift cable when the grub screws are clamped. Use: Disconnection of the gear mechanism with internal gear mechanism is done by opening the bayonet connectors. For easy handling, a middle gear should be engaged for this purpose. This places the bayonet connectors in an easily accessible position. To open the bayonet connectors, turn the bayonet tip and bayonet connector 90° against each other and pull them apart. The gear mechanism is connected by plugging the bayonet connectors together. Make sure that the Bowden cables and shift cables are not cross-connected. To connect, insert the bayonet tip into the bayonet connector and, if necessary, twist it slightly against each other until the bayonet spring engages in the bayonet tip. To connect, do not reach on top of the spring, but next to it.
