Beskrivning
Ett snurrigt motellrum, tre toppskådespelare och ett fantastiskt manus. Det här är ingredienserna i det starka dramat TAPE. Den här filmen av Richard Linklater handlar om två män som träffas efter 10 år i ett motellrum i Lansing, Michigan. Vince (Ethan Hawke) och Jon (Sean Robert Leonard) var bästa vänner på gymnasiet. Jon är debutregissör som har bjudits in till en filmfestival i sin hemstad. Vince är inblandad i alla typer av skum knarkaffärer och har inte kommit längre än att vara frivillig för brandkåren. Mötet börjar i godo, men det visar sig snart att Vince har en dubbel agenda. Vince skulle vilja prata om deras gemensamma gymnasiekompis Amy (Uma Thurman). Han försöker få ut en bekännelse från Jon, som han i hemlighet spelar in på band. Vince vill att Jon ska erkänna att han våldtog Amy under en fest som gick överstyr. För att göra saker ännu mer komplicerade bjöd Vince också in Amy. Vince letar efter en konfrontation, men resultatet visar sig vara en stor överraskning för honom också!
