DORMER E282 je strojna svedra za plinski navoj (M) iz HSS-E PM z ravnimi žlebovi. To omogoča uporabo tako za slepe kot za skoznje luknje. Prehodna gred zagotavlja, da se prilega skozi navojno luknjo. Konstrukcijske mere po DIN5156. Največja globina navoja je 1,5xD. Poševnica je v obliki C (2-3 vrstice), seveda pa je na voljo tudi z zelo dolgo poševnico v obliki A (6-8 vrstic). To pomeni, da se lahko uporablja tudi kot ročna pipa.
