Product Description The Flint 28" gravel frame from bc original - the perfect basis for customised gravel bike builds The bc original Flint, already known as a versatile gravel bike frame with generous tyre clearance, offers you a state-of-the-art basis for gravel road adventures. Thanks to a 70° head tube angle, even more difficult descents are manageable. Toe-overlap, i.e. contact between the toe and the front wheel when turning in, does not occur even with thick 28" tyres and fenders. Speaking of tyre clearance: It is up to 45 mm at the rear. In addition, the compact design of the frame with a bottom bracket drop of 55 mm prevents you from pedalling in narrow, gnarly terrain. This way, your bike always retains its agility and you benefit from the direct propulsion of the high-quality aluminium chassis on both short and long distances. This makes for more riding fun and comfort! In the second generation, the Flint frame features a third bottle cage mount, a revised head tube and improved brake hose routing. The fender and pannier rack eyelets are tried and tested, making this frame suitable for commuting and bikepacking. As you probably know, the name "Flint" is an allusion to the flint that used to be mined from the Lousberg in Aachen, Germany.
