This appliance cord with an IEC C13 connector is designed to connect electrical devices with a C14 inlet to a British Type G socket. The cord is used for PCs, monitors, servers, UPS systems, and other IT and office equipment. The cord features a Type G male plug (BS 1363, grounded) on the mains side and an IEC 60320 C13 female connector on the device side. The C13 connector is suitable for grounded devices with moderate power consumption. The Type G plug is equipped with an integrated fuse (BS 1362). This fuse protects the connected device and the cable against overload and short circuits, as required by British safety standards. This is a full voltage pass-through power cord. The cord only adapts the plug standard and does not convert voltage.
