First, choose the correct voltage for the inverter. This type of inverter converts the voltage from X volts to Y volts. X is the voltage of the socket to which you will connect the inverter. You can then calculate the power in Wattage as follows: V x A = W, in the example 230 x 2 = 460 Watt; 3. Now we calculate the required power for the inverter. You always need an inverter with at least double the wattage of the device you are connecting to the inverter. The minimum required power is therefore calculated as follows: device wattage x 2. To stick to the example above: 460 Watt x 2 means you need an inverter with a maximum power of 920 Watt; 4. Always choose the right inverter for your application!
