Product Description with DU-E8000 and other motors The STEPS FC-E8000 crank arms from Shimano are suitable for MTB, touring, and city e-bikes with DU-E8000, DU-E7000, DU-E6100, and DU-E6110 motors. They feature 24 mm axle splines and are mounted directly on the drive unit's axle. The crank arms are made of painted aluminum and are solid. When used with the DU-E8000, you get a Q-factor of 177 mm; in combination with the other motors, the Q-factor is 180 mm. In these cases, you can also use the FC-E8000 with a chain guard. Thanks to their rigidity, the FC-E8000 can easily withstand the high forces typical of electric bikes.
