Network cable tester with PoE detection This network cable tester allows network cables to be tested quickly and easily. In addition, a connected PoE power source can be checked. The tester has a detachable remote unit, so that already installed cables can also be tested.
Application
Suitable for testing network cabling during installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. The detachable remote unit makes it possible to test cables that are not directly accessible at both ends.
Test functionality
The tester checks the correct connection of the cable and provides information about the connection via LED indicators. For PoE connections, it shows which wire pairs are used.
PoE detection
Supports detection of:
• Used PoE wire pairs: 12/36 or 45/78
• PoE standards: IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at
Compatibility
