En teknik som från början utvecklades för industrin har nu implementerats i en standard PLIA-linje, som även består av stål PLIA och rostfritt stål PLIA med en räfflad hylsa för extra grepp om klämbackarna. En stor glödlampa bildad på baksidan kan sprida klämbelastningen över ett stort område. Efter installationen förblir den kvarvarande spiken förankrad i hylsan. Hålfyllningsförmågan säkerställer att förborrningen är mindre kritisk. Stort spännområde, en betydande lagerminskning kan uppnås.
