Beskrivning
En av de trevligaste filmerna Johnny Kraaykamp någonsin gjort. Han spelar huvudkaraktären Tim, resande säljare och god familjefar, gift med Jet och tvåbarnsfar. I Friesland träffar han sin partner Bodde (Piet Romer) igen, som han gjorde staden och landet osäkert med för tio år sedan under mottot: 'skratta, skratta, skratta'. Tim ger efter för Boddes förslag att gå och handla tillsammans. Deras vandring tar dem från de frisiska boskapsmarknaderna till en Limburgs prästgård där de säljer ett parti heliga bilder. Längs vägen träffar de Aafke, som Tim upplever en romans med, och bedragarduon Kwint och Dolores. Det blir galet, men så småningom kommer Tim fram till att hans plats är hos Jet och barnen.
