This ALLTEQ jack cable is used to extend an existing audio cable with a 3.5 mm audio connection. The cable transmits analog audio signals between devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, amplifiers, car radios, and speakers via an AUX connection. The cable features a 3.5 mm jack male connector and a 3.5 mm jack female connector. This allows an existing audio cable to be easily extended so that audio equipment can be connected at a greater distance. The cable supports stereo audio and features a 4-pole TRRS connector. This allows additional signals, such as a microphone signal, to be transmitted through the same connection in addition to stereo audio. The cable has a slimline design, keeping it thin and flexible. The connectors are equipped with gold-plated contacts, and the cable has single shielding, which helps reduce interference from external signals. Specifications Brand: ALLTEQ Cable type: jack extension cable Audio type: analog audio connection Connector 1: 3.5 mm jack male Connector 2: 3.5 mm jack female Connector type: TRRS (4-pole) Mono / stereo: stereo with microphone Contact material: gold-plated Shielding: single Extra: slimline design Warranty: 5 years Certifications: CE, RoHS, REACH, WEEE Explanation 3.5 mm jack: a commonly used audio connector for headphones, AUX connections, and portable audio equipment. This connection is used on smartphones, tablets, laptops, car radios, and various audio devices. Jack female connector: a female jack connection into which a male 3.5 mm jack plug can be inserted to extend an existing audio cable. TRRS connector: a jack connector with four contacts (Tip, Ring, Ring, and Sleeve). This allows stereo audio and a microphone signal to be transmitted via a single connection. Single shielding: a protective layer around the internal conductors that helps reduce interference from external electromagnetic sources. Slimline cable: an extra-thin cable construction used when space is limited or when a flexible and lightweight cable is desired. Gold-plated contacts: a thin layer of gold on the contact surface of the connector that reduces oxidation and ensures a stable electrical connection. Applications • Extending an existing 3.5 mm audio cable • Connection between smartphone and audio system • Connecting tablet or laptop to speakers or amplifiers • Use with car radios with an AUX connection Types of jack connectors 6.3 mm jack: a larger jack connector primarily used in professional audio equipment, musical instruments, and studio setups. 3.5 mm jack: a smaller jack connector widely used in consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and portable audio devices. 2.5 mm jack: a compact jack connector used in headsets, walkie-talkies, and specialized audio equipment. Explanation of jack configurations TS (Tip-Sleeve): a jack configuration with two contact points. The tip carries the audio signal, and the sleeve acts as ground. This configuration is used for mono audio signals. TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve): a jack configuration with three contact points. This allows two audio signals to be transmitted, for example, a left and right channel for stereo audio. TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve): a jack configuration with four contact points. This type of connection allows stereo audio and a microphone signal to be transmitted via the same connector. Explanation of audio signals Balanced audio: an audio transmission method using two signal wires and a ground. Interference picked up along the way is canceled out at the receiver, creating a more stable audio signal. Unbalanced audio: a form of audio transmission using one signal wire and one ground wire. This type of connection is commonly used in consumer electronics. Stereo audio: an audio system that uses two separate channels: a left and a right channel. Mono audio: an audio system that uses only one audio channel and sends the same signal to all speakers. Explanation of certifications CE: indicates that the product complies with European directives for safety, health, and environmental protection. RoHS: European directive restricting the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. REACH: European regulation for the registration and control of chemical substances in products. WEEE: directive for the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
