RJ45 field-terminable connector Cat 8.1 Class I This RJ45 field-terminable connector is suitable for on-site termination of Cat 8.1 Class I installation cables. The connector is designed for tool-free assembly and supports high-quality data transmission within professional and industrial network installations. Housing & Shielding The connector features a fully shielded zinc die-cast housing. The construction provides 360° shielding contact and good EMC properties, suitable for environments with increased electromagnetic loads. Connection Technology The connector uses IDC (insulation displacement connector) contacts. The low contact resistance contributes to a stable electrical connection. The connector is suitable for cables with a diameter up to 9.0 mm. Cable and Conductor Specifications Suitable for solid and stranded conductors with a wire gauge from AWG 22 to AWG 27. Supports both solid conductors and litz wires. Wire assignment according to TIA 568A, TIA 568B, and industrial Profinet 1-2-3-6 color coding. Re-termination The connector can be re-terminated up to 5 times with a consistent cable diameter. When using AWG27/7 conductors, re-termination is possible up to 2 times.
