Gnot Boost: Surly Gnot Boost technology allows for the mounting of different over locknut dimensions on the rear wheel. Rear wheels with 12 x 142 mm or 12 x 148 mm thru-axles can be mounted by clamping or spreading the frame. Wheels with an over locknut dimension of 135 mm can be used in frames with Gnot Boost technology by employing the rear wheel axle adapter.
