Sprouted seeds are rich in essential fatty acids, easily digestible carbohydrates, and vitamins (especially vitamin B). Providing sprouted seeds is highly recommended, as most birds love them.

Nutritional advice:
- Place the seeds in a clean container in plenty of water and leave to soak for 18 to 20 hours.
- Then rinse the seeds well and let them drain.
- Leave the seeds at room temperature, covered with a damp cloth if necessary, and never in direct sunlight.
- Repeat rinsing the seeds a few more times (every 3 hours) to prevent yeast formation.
- Feed the seeds to the birds as soon as a 1-2 mm sprout has developed.
