Description

The SLX M7000 is a Shimano rear derailleur designed for mountain bikes. It has been updated for 11-speed drivetrains and features SHIMANO SHADOW RD PLUS for improved chain stability and chain retention. This rear derailleur is rider-tuned for crisp, smooth shifting. At 323 grams, it is also 20% lighter in operation. The new SHADOW design features an optimized bevel angle for a stable gear position. The derailleur shifts efficiently, delivering a smoother drivetrain. The pulley teeth are designed for efficiency, and the derailleur is compatible with HG-X 11-speed chains. The maximum sprocket size is 42T for 2x11-speed and 46T for 1x11-speed. The smallest sprocket size is 40T. The derailleur has a 41T capacity and uses the top-of-the-line SHADOW RD+ suspension. The pulley cage is GS size and the derailleur pulley has 11T teeth. The SLX M7000 is part of the SLX M7000 Series and has a group color.
