Description

Product Description Michelin's DH Mud 29" wired tyre - top performance in wet conditions - is the specialist for muddy trails in the Michelin Downhill range. Featuring Magi-X DH rubber compound, DH Mud tread, DownHill Shield carcass and Cuttable Blocks technology, it performs well on muddy surfaces and provides maximum riding pleasure on soft surfaces. Guidelines for Replacing E-bike Components: Before you replace components on your e-bike, please read through the guidelines for component replacement for CE-marked e-bikes/pedelecs with pedal assistance. Specifications: Application: Downhill Product Line: Racing Line Type: wired tyre Tubeless System: Tubeless Ready Technical Information: Rubber Compound: Magi-X DH Tread: DH Mud Carcass: 2 x 55 tpi Sidewall: Gumwall Puncture Protection: Bead to Bead Protection Models: 29x2.4 Dimensions: 29 x 2.4 ETRTO: 61-622 Air Pressure: 1.5 - 4.0 bar Tube Size: A4 Manufacturer Number: 399994 Technology: Racing The series for professional competitions. Magi-X DH Rubber compound specially developed for Downhill use. It stands for maximum grip in wet and dry conditions, regardless of temperature. Magi-X DH technology offers the best grip in the Michelin range. Bead to Bead Protection This technology consists of a cross-woven, high density (HD) protective ply that encases and protects the entire tyre carcass - tread centre and shoulders. As a result, the tread centre and shoulders are reinforced so that the tyre offers excellent puncture protection and long life. Michelin tyres equipped with Bead to Bead Protection are specially designed for demanding riders looking for the best possible compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight. Pinch Protection Pinch Protection is a reinforcement in the bead area to reduce the effects of bottoming out and prevent punctures. Low Pressure Reinforcement Reinforcement of the overall structure, which allows riding with high lateral stability despite low air pressure. This also improves the protection against snake bites at low air pressure. Cuttable Blocks In mixed and slushy terrain, Enduro or DH riders often have to cut/reshape their tyres to achieve more grip and greater steering precision. Michelin has developed and patented a new generation of tread pattern which makes it easier and ensures perfect cutting of the tyre for the rider, thus saving a lot of time. Tubeless Ready These tyres can also be ridden tubeless if a tubeless rim is used and the maximum inflation pressure indicated on the tyre sidewall is not exceeded. You also need an appropriate sealant and the tyre inflation pressure should be checked before every ride. E-Bike Ready (up to 25 km/h) For normal pedelecs and e-bikes with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, the legislator does not prescribe special tyres. But even these bikes have higher loads and average speeds than normal bikes, so Michelin has reinforced tyres with this mark for maximum performance and speed with additional rubber.
