Product Description High braking power, stability and durability: Disc Brake Pads by Kool Stop At Kool Stop, you have the choice between organic and sintered disc brake pads. Organic disc brake pads are manufactured with almost no metal content and are bonded with synthetic resin. The pads contain small amounts of metal particles, as these improve the braking properties. Nevertheless, the coatings are mostly organic; you could also say they are semi-metallic. In the long run, organic disc brake pads have high braking performance and are very gentle on the rotor. The organic disc brake pads from Kool Stop are also available with an aluminium bracket. They weigh only about 10 g per pair.
