The 39-watt, 73.3 x 27.4 cm heat mat is a safe heat source for under-terrarium reptiles such as snakes, lizards, and amphibians. Heat is essential for reptiles and amphibians. These animals are ecothermic and therefore depend on external heat sources to regulate their body temperature, such as this Komodo heat mat. Made of sturdy material, the mats are also very suitable as a secondary heat source, even at night, as they do not emit light. The heat mat is also suitable for creating a warm forest or desert floor. A UK and Dutch plug are included. Note: The heat mat should preferably be used in combination with a thermostat; these can be ordered separately.
