Hunger for Words was founded by Christina Hunger, a speech therapist who saw many characteristics in her puppy, Stella, that she also sees in toddlers just before they start talking. Hunger for Words' speech buttons combine animal psychology, speech pathology, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) into an educational and fun game that teaches the dog to make its voice heard. The Essential Words Set offers several pre-recorded words. These words are part of every dog's basic training. Very handy indeed! The buttons are spoken in English and play the words "walk," "play," "eat," "outside," "water," and "love you." The set includes instructions written by the founder.
