Scrolled seeds are rich in essential fatty acids, slightly digestible carbohydrates and vitamins (especially vitamin B). The provision of broken seeds is strongly recommended, since most birds love it.

Nutritional advice:

1. Place the seeds in a clean container in plenty of water and soak for 18 to 20 hours.
2. Then rinse the seeds well and let them drain.
3. Leave the seeds at room temperature, possibly covered with a damp cloth and never in full sun.
4. Repeat the rinsing of the seeds a number of times (every 3 hours) to prevent yeast formation.
5. Feed the seeds on the birds as soon as a 1-2 mm germ has emerged.
