The EFB EL024V2 Multimode Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter is designed for connecting a fiber optic cable to an Ethernet network. The converter ensures that a network signal via a copper Ethernet cable can be converted to fiber optic. For this purpose, an RJ45 female connection and an SC Duplex female connection are present. The EFB Multimode Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter makes it possible to generate a maximum speed of 1 Gbit per second. LED lights are present to show the status of the connection and the converter can be used to transmit a signal over a maximum distance of 550 meters. The casing is metal and the dimensions are 115 millimeters by 70.5 millimeters by 26 millimeters. Power is supplied via an included AC adapter.
