This USB hub is designed to expand the number of USB connections on a computer or PC. The hub can be connected via a USB Type-B host connection and adds four USB A ports for data and one USB A port for power to the system. The hub supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and enables data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s via its four USB A data ports. Additionally, one USB A port is configured as a power port and can supply up to 2 A for powering USB devices. The hub can be used in two ways: externally with an included power adapter or internally built into a 3.5-inch bay of a PC case. For internal mounting, the hub is powered via a 4-pin power connector from the PC power supply. For external use, an on/off switch is present.
