Jeden je velmi sladký a druhý velmi zlobivý, jeden je dobrý skokan a druhý se nikdy nebojí. Všechny ale mají jedno společné: Carolien a děti z jízdárny by je nechtěly postrádat ani za nic! Rosie je nejsladší poník v Manege de Zonnehoeve. A dokonce je milé, že se děti ve středu odpoledne pořád dohadují, kdo ji bude jezdit. Rosie je z toho zklamaná, protože má ráda všechny děti stejně. Za chladného zimního dne Rosie vkročí do kusu ostnatého drátu a vážně si zraní nohu. Všichni se strašně trápí. Otázkou je, zda se ještě někdy úplně uzdraví a jestli si Carolien nákladnou léčbu může dovolit... Dívky ve středu odpoledne na svůj boj spontánně zapomínají.
