Product Description Stainless steel anti-theft protection for your valuable Rohloff hub: The Solid Axle Security Set by Pitlock Pitlock now also offers the appropriate anti-theft protection for cyclists with Rohloff hubs. Your valuable gearbox is thus protected from thieves and gets you home safely. If your bike has wide aluminum dropouts, Pitlock recommends securing only one side of the axle with Pitlock (single). Use the double set for securing the axle on both sides. Note: The protruding thread should extend about 14 mm from the dropout. The retaining ring requires a clearance (bearing surface) of 15 mm in the radius around the thread so that the Pitlock fastener can be securely installed. If the protruding thread is too short, a stub axle with a long threaded axle is required (Rohloff part number 8235L).
