- Skleněné korálky čistí voda bazénu důkladněji a efektivněji než filtrační písek.
- Skleněné kuličky filtrují částice nečistot do 5 až 10 mikronů, zatímco sklo filtruje pouze až asi 30 mikronů.
- Sklo má delší životnost než filtrační písek.
- Je také nutné opláchnout filtrační lože pomocí zpětného proplachování a k tomu se používá méně vody.
