Popis

Ušlý motelový pokoj, tři špičkoví herci a úžasný scénář. To jsou ingredience silného dramatu TAPE. Tento film Richarda Linklatera je o dvou mužích, kteří se po 10 letech setkají v motelovém pokoji v Lansingu v Michiganu. Vince (Ethan Hawke) a Jon (Sean Robert Leonard) byli nejlepší přátelé na střední škole. Jon je debutující režisér, který byl pozván na filmový festival ve svém rodném městě. Vince se podílí na všech druzích stinných obchodů s drogami a nedotáhl to dále než dobrovolně pro hasičský sbor. Setkání začíná přátelsky, ale brzy se ukáže, že Vince má dvojí program. Vince by rád mluvil o jejich společné kamarádce ze střední školy Amy (Uma Thurman). Snaží se dostat z Jona přiznání, které tajně nahrává na kazetu. Vince chce, aby Jon přiznal, že znásilnil Amy během večírku, který se mu vymkl z rukou. Aby to bylo ještě složitější, Vince pozval i Amy. Vince hledá konfrontaci, ale výsledek se ukáže být velkým překvapením i pro něj!
