Epi-ETIC je nerpívající, sušící ucha s dezinfekčními vlastnostmi založenými na kyselině mléčné a kyselině salicylové v broušené (sférulite) a ve volné formě a obsahuje dotazou chitosanidu a sodíku. Je vynikající uhasit a odstranit nadměrný ušní vozík a zánětlivý materiál ve vnějším ušním kanálu u psů a koček.
Kyselina mléčná má dezinfekční vlastnosti (redukce pH). Kyselina salicylová je keratolyticky účinná (udělena nadržená vrstva), a proto zánětlivá a jeukremende. Má injekční účinek. Sférulity jsou mikro-koule vytvořené ve vrstvách, které zajišťují zpožděné uvolňování účinných látek, a tedy dlouhodobou účinnost. Chitosanid je degradovatelný biopolymer, který přidržuje pokožku a vlasy se sférovanou a má účinek regulace vlhkosti. Dokukce sodíku je napěťové napětí, což získává silné zlepšení pronikavé kapacity kapaliny.
