Description

Special featuresIncreases your efficiency: Integrated, bright LED flashlight. Saves time: Quick voltage check via non-contact measurement. Increases your flexibility: Voltage tester covers a wide voltage range from 12 - 1,000 V AC. Improves your efficiency: Usable for all sockets worldwide thanks to internationally adapted measuring tip. For detecting and locating live conductors, cable breaks and faults, blown fuses, defective lamps on light strings as well as individual wire identification. Before beginning an electrical installation, electricians must ensure that the work environment is de-energized. A voltage tester is needed to test for electrical alternating fields or to locate probable sources of error. The non-contact Wiha voltage tester provides an initial indication of voltage-free conditions through an optical and acoustic signal. After switching on, the permanently green LED indicates operational readiness. During voltage testing, depending on the strength of the electrical alternating field, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) to orange to red (strong). Two AAA batteries are required for use and are included in the delivery. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it automatically switches off to save energy. An integrated LED flashlight allows for illumination of the measuring tip in dark environments and can be used as a flashlight by manually switching it on and off. The voltage tester with clip fits comfortably in any shirt or trouser pocket thanks to its easy-to-handle size. Thanks to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester is suitable for all socket variants worldwide. The single-pole voltage tester complies with standard EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 VAC. In addition, the tool is approved according to the ATEX standard for use in hazardous areas (Category II). For electrical applications. Before and after each use, the voltage tester must be tested on a known voltage source to ensure proper functioning. Technical dataVoltage V AC min-max 12 - 1000 Total length mm 150
