With this ingenious device you can come home again if you break your derailleurpad on the way or on the trail. Just remove your broken derailleurpad, Derailleur and QR Moer. Insert the QR throat axle through the Emergency Pendant, remove the spring and fix the nut again. Secure the QR nut. Get the derailleur again and you are gone!
