To avoid damaging a carbon fork tube, an expander is the ideal bicycle part to install and adjust the headset. By tightening the bolt, the expander clamps into the fork tube. Then screw the top cap until the headset is properly adjusted. This expander has a spherical top cap and has a length of 65mm.
