Hydroclamps facilitate the installation of hydraulic brake lines on a frame equipped with brake cable guiding lugs. On bicycle frames that are both V-brake and disc brake compatible, you will find lugs on the top tube in which the outer cable must be attached and which form the transition between the inner and outer cable. However, when driving with disc brakes, these cams can be used to attach the hydraulic brake lines. For this you need the Trivio hydroclamps. These are screwed into the lugs and are equipped with clamps in which the pipe can be clicked into place. This way the lugs are still put to good use and the brake lines run neatly along the frame.
