Adjustable, telescopic plumb rod Quickly setting out angles and checking straight lines The double pentagon prism is a simple but important optical tool for setting out right angles or checking right angles, placing a point on a straight line (i.e. dropping the perpendicular from the point onto this straight line) and aligning yourself in a straight line. The double pentagon prism is easy to use. Two pentagon glass prisms are on top of each other in the double pentagon prism. For measurements above a measuring point, place the prism on a plumb rod or hang a plumb line in the notch on the bottom of the housing. The location of the prism, which is relevant in terms of measuring technology, vertically above a measuring point, can therefore be easily determined. Plumb rod is extendable and lockable. Height adjustable between 100 and 180 cm. The stainless steel tip serves as a plumb bob. An adapter for the prism is included in the delivery.
