Tacx Shiva water bottle bio 500cc olive

This water bottle is made from 100% biobased material derived from sugarcane. The polyethylene used for our bottles is made from the residual sugarcane material. This process is much cleaner than conventional methods and has a nice added benefit: while the sugarcane grows, it removes CO2 from the air.

Biodegradable

This bottle is made of polyethylene with a bio-batch additive. This additive alters the molecular structure of the bottle. It has no effect on the bottle's usability until it ends up in a landfill or is abandoned in the forest. At the right temperature, the bio-batch is activated and the bottle decomposes into water, humus, and gas. The entire composting process takes approximately one to five years. In nature, it takes longer.
