Description
The Schleich Wild Life manatee is a mammal that lives in tropical waters, where it feeds on seaweed, algae, and other aquatic plants. Its closest relatives are not cows, but elephants. Over millions of years, its forelimbs have evolved into flippers. Its hind limbs have completely degenerated. In round-tailed manatees, the tail has become a spade-shaped paddle, and in fork-tailed manatees, a fork-shaped paddle.
