Description
The vulture from the Schleich® WILD LIFE theme world is a fully grown griffon vulture. It is found throughout Europe, North Africa, and Asia. This bird of prey prefers open landscapes and mountainous terrain with steep cliffs and ravines. It has reddish-brown plumage, blackish-gray wings, and an almost bare neck with a ruff of white down. Vultures are very important to the ecosystem. They eat dead animals that could otherwise spread diseases.
