Description
The Brontosaurus from the Schleich® DINOSAURS theme world is an impressive dinosaur with a long tail, a massive body, and a thin neck. This dinosaur weighed about 15 tons and measured 22 meters in length. Although no Brontosaurus skull has been found yet, it is suspected that, like the Apatosaurus, it had a relatively small head.
- Researchers used to think that Brontosaurus could crack its tail like a whip.
- The name Brontosaurus means "thunder lizard".
- Schleich figures are always reproduced to scale and are lifelike.
