Centrifugal force causes an even distribution of the balancing powder on the inside of the tire. In an improperly balanced tire, a "pulling away" of the tire is triggered by the center of gravity in the tire tread or by differences in the hardness of the tire, which absorbs vibrations. The loosely flowing micro-beads enable a corresponding counter-movement, which compensates for the imbalance and keeps the tires consistently well-balanced. The effect is optimal at speeds up to 100 km/h. The bucket contents (8 kg) are sufficient for approx. 50 balances, depending on the wheel size.
