Stem adapter With the Qibbel stem adapter you can also mount the Qibbel Air front seat on modern (electric) bicycles where the cables are concealed in the stem. This way you can take your child with you safely and comfortably, even if the standard attachment does not fit. The stem adapter is exclusively suitable for the Qibbel Air front seat (approx. 9 months to 3 years, up to 15 kg). Common popular models that require a stem adapter include Gazelle (Grenoble, Avignon, Chamonix, Ultimate, Orange), Batavus (Finez, Altura), Cortina (E-Blau, E-Lett, E-Mozzo, E-Nite), Sparta (A-Shine, D-Rule, C-Grid) and Koga (Evia, F3). Installation & advice For safe installation, we recommend that you always have the stem adapter installed by a bicycle mechanic or recognized Qibbel dealer. The adapter is available in two sizes (1 1/4 inch and 1 1/8 inch), depending on the fork of the bicycle. Sometimes additional parts are needed, such as an Ahead spacer or an M6 extension (for example with Gazelle Avignon & Chamonix). These are available separately. Always check that the base plate does not touch the frame and that the cables run neatly through the cable guide. After installation, the handlebars should continue to move smoothly.
