You also don't need any tools to install the foot protection plates. Gently push the plates over the footrests and they will click into place. For extra strength, the enclosed tie-wraps can be used to attach the plates to the bicycle frame on the outside. Do you want to use the seat on multiple bicycles? That is also possible. Because the seat can be quickly (dis)assembled, a set of extra footrests is enough to be able to quickly change.
