A good cause: Amsterdam has asked companies that celebrate the party to support a good cause. We chose the Emma children's hospital. We will therefore transfer part of the proceeds from this series of bicycle accessories for Amsterdam 750 years to the Emma children's hospital. Do you know why? The Emma Children's Hospital has been providing the very best care for seriously ill children for more than 150 years, often with complex or even life-threatening conditions. What started in 1865 with six wooden cribs in a former English Orphanage in the center of Amsterdam has now grown into one of the leading children's hospitals in the world. As part of Amsterdam UMC, the recent merger between AMC and VUmc, the Emma Children's Hospital is now the largest academic children's hospital in our country. Every year, approximately 9,000 children are admitted and 35,000 children visit the outpatient clinic. The Emma Children's Hospital enables every child to get the most out of life, here they receive help to participate as normally as possible with healthy peers. Children and their parents, brothers and sisters are guided in how to deal with their illness. theft is the order of the day in Amsterdam.
