Special featuresThe PROFTEC plasterboard screw, or also called quick-build screw, is a black phosphated screw for fastening plasterboard. Plasterboard screws from PROFTEC are of professional quality with a high breaking value, a low screw-in resistance and a perfectly shaped sharp point that ensures a quick start of the screw in various building materials. The black phosphate layer on the hardened steel plasterboard screws ensures good adhesion of the plasterwork and is sufficiently anti-rust to prevent staining. The plasterboard screw has a trumpet head to prevent damage to the paper layer on the plasterboard and to tighten the panels firmly. The screws have a Phillips drive (cross head) and are available with three different thread shapes: fine thread for attaching plasterboard to metal studs, coarse thread for attaching plasterboard to wooden framework and there are screws with a Hi-Lo thread with double pitch for all-round use, also for use in harder fiberboard. These screws are packed in a handy plastic bucket, as bulk packaging. The recycled plastic bucket is easy to use and has a handle for lifting, which saves you a lot of cardboard waste if you use larger numbers of screws.
