P ZERO Race RS is the latest addition to Pirelli's P ZERO Race racing bike tires Made in Italy. This tire was specially developed for racing purposes and is the fastest and best performing bicycle tire to date. It features improvements in all key areas. Patent-pending SpeedCORE technology, which consists of a thin airtight layer of rubber compound infused with aramid particles, allows the carcass structure and overall thickness to be lightened, resulting in a further reduction in rolling resistance. The SmartEVO compound has been improved in terms of speed and grip by Pirelli's new Made in Italy production process, further increasing handling precision and control in both dry and wet conditions. A new TLR design provides even better compatibility and air retention, to accommodate modern rim designs, including hookless, developed under ETRTO and ISO standards.
